Pre On The Job Training

So it is finally time for my 2 lots of training, welcome to Operations a general training for the company that everyone does, and DAKlimations which is exclusive for cast members working at DAK (each park has their own orientation).

Welcome to OPS was early and boring but nothing that couldn’t be managed. I also got to meet someone that I will be working with which is always nice. Overall rather boring but it was essential information.

DAKlimations on the other hand was lots of fun and training I was excited for because it introduced me to my park. And it was everything that I was hoping for and more.

I won’t go into too much details but the facilitators were amazing, we did some class stuff inside which was nice. And we also got to tour the whole park.

It was also super nice to get to ride the Safari as part of training and also get paid for it is even better.

After DAKlimations finished and we ended lunch it was time to head to costuming and get my costume for my role. It was very chaotic and didn’t end the best with my pant size being the one they only had 3 in total of. But I have them now and it’s actually not that bad.

The next lot of training that I had was the big ones and what I was super excited for but also super nervous as it was On the Job Training.
