A wild sorta day

So this was my final day off before starting my on the job training, and I was very very nervous to begin my training and actually start working.

So today was sort of just a chill at the apartment sorta day and relax. Get my nerves in check and try and make sure that I was well rested and ready to falls my training head on. Well that didn’t exactly go according to plan.

In the afternoon I was relaxing with one of my flat mates and we saw that the line for flight of passage was under a 2 hour wait, so we both agreed to head off to DAK for the afternoon/evening for an evening of firsts. So off on an adventure we went.

Arriving on from the Uber to DAK we immediately made our way inside and off to the world of Pandora. It was honestly so beautiful and stunning. Disney imagineers have honestly done such an amazing job with the three most recent lands added. After the slight adjustment to the beauty of the land we were off to the queue for flight of passage.

Getting off the ride we had to pick our jaws up off the floor as the ride was truely that amazing. It made me cry upon return and left both of us wanting more, and screaming at Disney asking them why they would do that to us. It was truely an exceptional ride and is definitely my favourite ride on all of property and my favourite theme park ride from any park.

After that awesome experience we wondered how it could possibly get any better. We went to head off to Dinosaur to ride by the tell a cast said that it had already closed (we found out they were wrong) so instead went for dinner at what is seemingly my go to DAK quick service location.

After a nice meal we decided to head off to ride expedition Everest at night before park close. Sitting in the very front row at night was absolutely great as you can see all the lights over the park and look out upon the property. Plus coming up to the dead end of the track was really fun too.

Then it was time for the night show, Rivers of Light: We are One. I was excited to see this as this is my parks nightly show so I really wanted to be able to at least like and support it. Plus watching it online before leaving I thought I would enjoy it.

I ended up crying at the performance and having a serious contender for the best nightly show (however happily ever after still wins). It was ultimately a truely emotional and amazing day filled with fun and firsts and made me fall in love with my park even more and really love how lucky I am to be here
